‘Show & Tell’ — Presented by PRAKSIS and Karmaklubb* (PRAKSIS R29)

PRAKSIS and Karmaklubb*
present an evening of performance, conversation, music, and dance. The evening
begins with a series of “bring and brag” dialogues between artist Harold
Offeh and guests including the Queen Ryona Crystal, in which objects serve
to evoke queer experiences of nighttime Oslo. After this, a performative
intervention by Jonathan Hielkema will play on notions of the “authentic
self”. Post-performance music, dancing and celebration will be hosted in the
welcoming ambience of the Baba Bar. Tunes by: DJ Brødskive. Dress code:
normcore/light effort/as outrageous as you dare!

This event is part of
PRAKSIS’s 29th residency For real? (10 March–6 April), an
exploration of ideas of authenticity and identity in art and society, developed
